County Commissioners to Meet With Residents

Montgomery County Commissioners town hall style meetings to be held in Lansdale, Ardmore, Pennsburg, Glenside, and Pottstown

Over the next few weeks, the Montgomery County Commissioners will be having conversations about county government with residents throughout the county.

The commissioners have scheduled a series of five “Conversations With Your Commissioners” beginning Jan. 19 in Lansdale. The series concludes in Pottstown on Feb. 11. Other stops include Lower Merion, Pennsburg, and Glenside.

“These conversations with the commissioners are another in a series of ways we are trying to keep residents informed about what we are doing,” said Josh Shapiro, chair of the commissioners. “We live stream our meetings on line and use social media a great deal to inform everyone about what is going on in the county.

“We urge residents to attend these conversations so they can hear what we have tried to do during our first year in office, and we can hear what issues are most important to our residents,” Shapiro said.
