Worker Makes 88 Purchases on Employer’s Credit Card, Police Say

A Philadelphia man has been charged in connection with more than $800 in purchases on a business' credit card.

An employee of a Horsham Township business is accused of making 88 unauthorized purchases on his employer’s credit card.

Kevin J. Berry, of Philadelphia, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition.

The charges stem from a March 7 police investigation into a report from a Horsham Township business that an employee was using a company credit card to make unauthorized purchases.

Berry was charged for 88 unauthorized purchases on his employer’s credit card totaling more than $800.

He was arraigned before a district magistrate and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
