Woman Charged with DUI in 3-Vehicle Crash

Alcohol is said to have been a factor in a 39-year-old Fairless Hills woman's alleged involvement in a three-vehicle crash in Horsham Township.

Sandra E. Argumedes was arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Aug. 1 stemming from a July 12 three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Horsham and Dresher roads. 

While gathering information from the drivers, an officer smelled the odor of alcoholic beverages on Argumedes’ breath and observed other signs of intoxication, according to police. 

According to court records, Argumentes in April 2012 pleaded guilty to driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked and driving without a license. 

Another charge, driving an unregistered vehicle, was withdrawn.
