Woman Accused of Stealing Donation Jar Sentenced to Prison

The theft at a Horsham business occurred in June and was captured on the store's surveillance video.

Agnes E. Williams, of the 3800 block of Blair Mill Road in Upper Moreland, netted about $6 from the June 6 theft. She admitted to that, as well as a previous incident in which she stole $140 from her mother to buy scratch-off lottery tickets.

On Monday, Williams received a sentence of up to 23 months in county prison. She must also serve an additional one-year probation sentence in connection with the money she stole from the Easton Road business.
