Vehicle Stolen from Borough Lot, Police Say

A 2009 Ford F350 truck was stolen from Hatboro's municipal parking lot, according to police.

Hatboro residents should be wary of parking their vehicles–or bicycles–overnight in borough parking lots following two recent thefts.

According to Hatboro Police, the front wheel of a bike parked and locked at the SEPTA train station in Hatboro was stolen sometime between May 10 and May 11. The wheel has an estimated replacement value of $50.

Police said a 2009 Ford F350 truck was stolen from the borough's parking lot on West Moreland Avenue near York Road sometime between 5 p.m. on May 7 and 8 a.m. on May 8. The truck was recovered on Monday after it turned up in a parking lot in Philadelphia, police said.
