'Suspicious' Man Offered Child Ride, Police Say

A man driving a maroon pickup truck reportedly offered a teenager a ride home Tuesday afternoon in Hatboro.

Hatboro Police are seeking a "suspicious" man, who reportedly attempted to pick up a 13-year-old boy Tuesday afternoon.

At 4:47 p.m., police responded to investigate the luring attempt, which occurred at the intersection of York and James roads.

The boy reported that while he was walking home from his bus stop, a white male 30 to 35 years of age wearing glasses and a backwards ball cap and driving a newer maroon pickup truck drove by him and said, "Do you need a ride"?
