In this day and age...have an Alarm and cameras installed...it doesn't stop them but it does help...We had the Alarm installed for under 300.00, the cameras were a little more....but well worth it. The cameras are very clear and record and you can get still pictures as well. I sleep better knowing I have that and not because it stops them...but it is a warning...and it's great for when you're not home as well. It pisses me off that people have the nerve to violate your home that way.
