Police Seek Bike-Riding Toucher

Hatboro Police said they have received several reports of a 20-something male on a bike who has touched, or attempted to touch, women inappropriately.

The is seeking a white male in his 20s who attempted to slap the buttocks of a woman as she jogged on the evening of Aug. 8. 

The incident occurred at about 6 p.m. in the area of Fulmor Avenue. Police said the victim reported that the man - who she described as short, with a shaved head, wearing a white T-shirt and dark shorts - was riding a mountain bike, approached her from behind and attempted to touch her. 

The victim told police that she first noticed the male while jogging on Byberry Avenue and then again in the area of York Road and Fulmor Avenue. She told police that she was approached by the male while jogging east on Fulmor Avenue.

Off¡cers immediately began patrolling the borough streets in an attempt to locate the male. No subjects were observed rid¡ng bicycles at that time.

The Hatboro police have had several similar reports involving what could be the same suspect. Residents are asked to report all suspicious individuals to the police ¡mmediately by dialing 9-1-1.
