Search Continues for Straw Hat Bandit
The FBI and Horsham police are looking for the man who robbed the Colonial American Bank on Welsh Road Friday evening.
The and the FBI are seeking the public's assistance to identify the suspect responsible for the armed robbery of the located at 300 Welsh Road in Horsham.
At approximately 5:45 p.m. Friday, the subject entered the bank wearing a large-brimmed straw hat, some type of sack or pillowcase over his head with eye holes cut out, sunglasses, dark pants, a suit coat, tie and gloves. The suspect's race is not known. Police said he was 5'7" to 5'11" tall with a heavy/stocky build and was wearing a handgun in a shoulder holster on his right side.
The man ordered the bank employees onto the ground, and then fled the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash. This individual is considered armed and dangerous.
