Park Graffiti Will Cost Borough $500, Police Say

Hatboro Police say vandals spray-painted playground equipment at Memorial Park.

A month after the Hatboro Borough Council adopted a graffiti ordinance that would impose fines on property owners who fail to cover or remove graffiti, police say vandals spray-painted playground equipment at Memorial Park.

The criminal mischief was discovered on Oct. 22 at the Moreland Avenue park, according to police. 

The cost to remove and clean the graffiti is estimated at approximately $500, according to police.
