No Injuries Reported at Downey Drive House Fire

The Horsham Fire Company was called out to Downey Drive early Saturday morning for a house fire. There were no injuries or foul play reported.

 

The Horsham Fire Company responded to a dwelling fire early Saturday morning at 61 Downey Drive at 1:04 a.m.

There were no injuries to report to the home owners, the Patel family, and they evacuated their single-family home once smoke detectors went off.

The fire started in the second-floor bedroom. The cause is undetermined and the investigation is still ongoing, however, according to Horsham Fire Marshal George Fida, no foul play is expected.

“Hopefully we’ll be back first thing Monday morning and see what happened,” Fida said. “It doesn’t appear to be anything suspicious. But the room was significantly damaged when we had to get in there.”
