Man Stole Cash from Former Job, Police Say

A Boyertown man has been charged with offenses related to the alleged break-in and theft at a Horsham business.

A former employee of Napa Auto Care in Horsham is accused of breaking in the store after hours and stealing $150 from the cash register.

Michael Fluck, of Boyertown, was arrested on July 10 and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, receiving stolen property, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition.

Horsham Township Police had responded to the store, which is located in the 100 block of Easton Road, for a security alarm and discovered a garage door window had been pushed in, creating a large entry hole.

In addition to the damage to the garage door, approximately $150 in cash was stolen from the cash register, police said.

Fluck, a former employee of Napa Auto Care, was allegedly captured on surveillance video committing the crime and was positively identified by the business owner, according to police.

He was arraigned before a district magistrate, and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
