Horsham Police Investigate Cause of 1-Vehicle Crash

A 'person of interest' who allegedly fled the scene of an auto accident in Horsham is under investigation, according to police.

Horsham Police are investigating the cause of a Friday night one-vehicle crash, which sent three occupants to the hospital with minor injuries, according to police.  

Horsham Deputy Chief Bill Daly said the 8:25 p.m. crash occurred on Horsham Road near Precision Drive. According to Daly, a black 2004 Lincoln Continental flipped over and struck a tree. 

As a result, three occupants were transported to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. One of the vehicle's occupants, according to police, fled the scene on foot.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, as is the "person of interest" that Daly said fled the scene. 

There were no preliminary indications the operator was under the influence, according to Daly.
