Horsham police cited two out-of-towners for public drunkenness during the early morning hours Saturday.

Melanie Dickerson, 27, of the 200 block of Spring Valley Road, Darby, was cited for public drunkenness on Saturday at 12:55 a.m. after an officer responded to a complaint of a female lying in the middle of the road in the area of 245 Easton Road. Dickerson was located in the rear parking lot of the McDonald's at Easton Road and Pine Avenue. She was cited and released to a friend.

Richard Burton, 32, of the 1400 block of Walnut Street in Blue Bell, was cited Saturday at 2:59 a.m. for public drunkenness after officers responded to a disorderly subject in the parking lot of a bar in the area of Horsham Road and Limekiln Pike. Police said Burton was trying to get into the locked doors of the bar. He was taken into custody and later released to a friend.
