Horsham Man Vanishes at Jersey Shore

The Coast Guard has ended a search for a 54-year-old Horsham man who went missing off the coast of South Jersey Friday, according to ABC27.

Brad Smith and another man were walking with their daughters in knee-deep water in North Wildwood late Friday afternoon when they were said to have fallen into a drop in the sand.

ABC reports that the four were pulled out to sea by the undertow, though the other man and his daughter were able to make their way back to shore. A man on a personal watercraft rescued Smith's 7-year-old daughter, but Smith has not been located.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, helicopter and boat searches were carried out Friday night and Saturday morning. Officials decided around 3 p.m. Saturday to suspend the search.
