A Horsham man is behind bars for allegedly stealing and pawning jewelry.
Matthew Robert Mitchell was arrested on Tuesday and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
Police detectives had investigated the theft of jewelry from a local resident, according to police. The investigation led officers to an area pawn shop, where police determined that Mitchell had allegedly sold the jewelry.

Mitchell was arraigned and sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
