Horsham Man Arrested for Allegedly Masturbating in Public

A Horsham man is accused of masturbating while watching women work out at the Ambler Area YMCA, according to police. 

Edward Park, 21 of Horsham, was charged with open lewdness for allegedly putting his hands inside his shorts and masturbating while looking at one of two females on May 21, police said. 

In the investigation report from Lower Gwynedd Police, Park explained that his intention was to feel good and he was not really masturbating, because “playing with yourself is a quick in the moment type of thing but masturbating usually is to get hard and reach climax.”

Lower Gwynedd Police were called to the for a suspicious male - later identified as Park - who was possibly masturbating. The Y's employees were told by two members that they saw a male on the mezzanine workout area, touching himself and make a motion as if he were masturbating while he was looking at two women.

According to police, Park was seen on a stretching machine and when the members reported this to YMCA employees, he exited the building.
