Hatboro Police Nab Alleged Prowler

The Hatboro man was charged with loitering, stalking and related offenses following an early morning incident at a Green Lane Terrace residence.

A Hatboro man is behind bars after allegedly being caught prowling a Green Lane Terrace home at night time, according to Hatboro Police.

Theodore J. Brown, 49, was arrested on Sept. 9 at 12:02 a.m. and charged with loitering and prowling at night time, stalking, open lewdness, indecent exposure, and disorderly conduct, when he was apprehended by police who were conducting a surveillance detail in a residential yard on Green Lane Terrace.

Police said the apprehension was the result of an investigation that began after a resident reported suspicious activity in their yard that suggested someone was trespassing during the night time hours. Brown was arraigned before District Justice Paul Leo of Hatboro and was incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility when he failed to post $25,000 bail.
