Burglary and an attempted break-in reported recently.

Public drunkenness 

On Saturday at 3:08 a.m., Michael E. Behrens, 22, of Horsham, was arrested and cited for public drunkenness when he was found intoxicated in the 200 block of Tanner Avenue.

Assault

On Wednesday at 8:22 p.m., Leo T. Rawle, 27, of Hatboro, was arrested and charged with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct, after officers investigated an assault in the 400 block of North York Road. The victim sustained a head injury, nasal fracture and bruising. He was arraigned by District Justice Paul Leo and was released from custody on $5,000 bail.

Burglary (attempt)

On Wednesday, a homeowner in the 200 block of North Penn Street discovered pry marks and damage on a home window. Entry was not gained and nothing was reported missing. Police said the possible burglary attempt likely occurred sometime within the previous week.

Burglary (residential)

On Monday, officers investigated a residential burglary in the 200 block of Byberry Avenue. Through their investigation, police said that between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., someone entered the residential dwelling by smashing a rear window. Once inside the home, the alleged thief searched through two bedrooms and stole jewelry and coinage. The investigation is still active.

Noise ordinance

On April 25, at 10:31 p.m., Connolly’s Pub at 18 E. Moreland Avenue was cited for the violating the borough's noise ordinance after officers investigated a complaint about loud music at the establishment. 

Criminal mischief/public drunkenness

Michele D. Thomson, 28, of Hatboro, was arrested and cited for criminal mischief, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct on April 25, at 8:38 a.m. after police said she was intoxicated, caused a disturbance, and smashed a window at an apartment belonging to another person.

Harassment

Ismael Collazo, 35, of Hatboro was cited on April 24 at 10:32 p.m. for allegedly scratching the arm of another person during an argument that police said occurred during a reported disturbance in the 200 block of South York Road.
