"A vehicle is not a safe place to store valuables, particularly if they are visible from the exterior of the car," HatboroPolice Sgt. James Petrik said in a press release. "A glass window will not stop thieves who know purses and similar bags may contain credit cards, cash, prescription medication, spare keys, etc."
