Hatboro Police: Bikes, Lighting Stolen, Car Keyed

Thieves allegedly made off with a $1,000 lighting system and two bikes worth $740.

Theft

  • On Sept. 4, a business owner in the 200 block of Tanner Avenue reported someone stole the overhead lighting from his work truck while in was parked in the parking lot. The lighting system has an estimated replacement value of approximately $1,000, according to police.  
  • On Sept. 3 someone stole two Diamondback bicycles from a storage unit in the 400 block of North York Road. The bicycles have a total replacement value of $740, police said.

Sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 3, police said someone deliberately scratched the doors and hood on a 2005 Kia that was parked in the 100 block of East Montgomery Avenue. An estimate of the cost to repair the damage is not available.
