$30 Theft Lands Woman Behind Bars

Video surveillance allegedly caught a 22-year-old woman in the act at the Union Library of Hatboro.

A 22-year-old woman with no fixed address is in county jail for allegedly stealing a donation jar with approximately $30 inside. 
The woman was arrested on Tuesday at 9:19 p.m. and charged with theft and receiving stolen property as a result of a Hatboro Police investigation that began when a donation jar containing about $30 was stolen from the Union Library of Hatboro on Sept. 15. The theft was captured on video surveillance and investigation identified the woman as the suspect. She was arraigned before District Justice Harry Nesbitt of Horsham and was incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail.
