2 Hatboro Residents Charged with Thefts from Home

Charges against two Hatboro residents stem from a multitude of personal property thefts from a Green Lane Terrace home, according to police.

Two Hatboro residents have been charged with multiple felony counts of theft stemming from allegedly stealing items from a borough resident's home. 

Henry William Miller, 44, was arrested on Oct. 17 and charged with eight felony counts of theft by unlawful taking, as well as 13 total misdemeanor counts of theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.

Wendy A. Metzgar, 42, was arrested on Oct. 17 and charged with three misdemeanor counts each of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.

The charges stem from an investigation that began on Sept. 30, when a resident of Green Lane Terrace reported a multitude of personal property was stolen from his home, according to police. The thefts allegedly occurred on Aug. 15, according to court documents. 

Miller is being held in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 cash bail. Metzgar was released from custody on $25,000 unsecured bail. Both Miller and Metzgar have preliminary hearings slated for later this month.
