Scott D. Williams, 64, of Hatboro

Funeral arrangements have been set for Scott D. Williams, of Hatboro.

Scott D. Williams of Hatboro died on Tuesday. He was 64.

He was the husband of Maureen T. (nee Mulhern) Williams with whom he had shared more than 40 years of marriage. He was born in Coaldale and was a son of Russell and the late Jean (nee Gardner) Williams.

Williams was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman and a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Somerset, which he built with the help of his sons. Before the family cabin he enjoyed camping and taking vacations.

Scott also enjoyed old television shows, grilling, riding his Harley and animals of all kinds–especially his canine companion, Darby.

In addition to his wife and father, Williams is survived by five sons, Bill and his wife Melissa, Scott D. Jr., Shaun P. and his wife Chelsie, Timothy O. and Daniel C. and his wife Molly, nine grandchildren, Kody, Kayla, Jade, Dalton, Heather, Carly, Alayna, Paige and Gavin, a sister Karen Williams, and his best friend Joe Carmean. He was preceded in death by a brother Bruce Williams.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Monday after 10 a.m. at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro followed by his funeral service at 11 a.m. His interment will follow in Hatboro Cemetery.
