Kathryn P. Daly: Loved Tending to Her Garden (Obituary)

Kathryn P. Daly of Harleysville, formerly of Horsham passed away on January 21, 2014. She was 86.

Kathryn was the beloved wife of the late William J. Daly, Jr. with whom she had shared over 43 years of marriage.

She was born in Lansdale a daughter of the late James and Mae Mills. Kathryn enjoyed traveling on cruises, being a social butterfly, was a member of Sandy Run Country Club for the 25 years and loved tending to her award winning garden. She had been an employee of Prudential Insurance.

Her greatest joy in life was her family and to dance with her husband, decorate for any occasions, cook and entertain for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Kathryn is survived by a daughter Wendy E. Wade and her husband Jack and a son William J. Daly III and his wife Amy, five grandchildren, Jennifer Wolfberg, Kelly Wade, Gregory Paul, Kylie Woeller, Jacob Wade and Colin W. Daly, four great grandchildren Alex, Jonah, Gavin and Jaxon. She was preceded in death by a daughter Pamela M. Paul and a brother Bruce R. Mills.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and again on Tuesday after 10:00 a.m. in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church 505 N. York Road, Hatboro followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Her interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery.
