Jane Geist, 85, of Hatboro

Jane Geist of Hatboro died on Monday at her home after a short illness. She was 85.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Lucy Booker Liversidge and the late Robert Liversidge and the wife of Richard Geist, Sr. 

Geist attended Ursinus College in Collegeville and had later worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania until her retirement.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Olney.

In addition to her husband, Richard, she is survived by her sons Scott Bechtle (Kathy) of Glastonbury Conn., Chris Bechtle (Gobi) of London, England and her grandson Jason Bechtle, also of London.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Friday after 10 a.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend her funeral service at 10:30 a.m.

Her Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, Ambler. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church 5307 Front Street, Olney, PA 19120.
