Helen M. Boyer, 81, of Hatboro

Funeral arrangements have been set for Helen M. Boyer of Hatboro.

Helen M. Boyer of Hatboro, died on Friday. She was 81.

She was the wife of the late Arthur W. Boyer with whom she had shared 42 years of marriage. Born in Ashland, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Schlader) Reilly.

Boyer attended St. Joseph's High School in Ashland and Ashland State Hospital where she received her nursing degree. She worked at Warminster General Hospital for 10 years before her retirement.

She is survived by her three children, Karen M. Boyer of Hatboro, David W. Boyer and his wife Clarisse of Royersford, and Sandra Boyer Tompkins and her husband Richard of Hatboro; six grandchildren, Derek (Jenna), Emily, Katie, Joshua, Madeleine and Owen; a sister Mary R. Conner; sister-in-law Christina Boyer of North Whales; and a son-in-law Jim Cooper of Glenside.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard A. and a daughter Amy E. Cooper.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Friday, after 10 a.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend her prayer service at 11 a.m. Her interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Boyer's name to Abington Hospice at Warminster, 225 Newtown Road, third floor hospice, Warminster, PA 18974.
