Dolores Springsteen, 'Lived a Good Life'

Dolores Springsteen, a resident of Hatboro for more than 50 years, passed away on Tuesday.

Dolores Springsteen, a resident of Hatboro for more than 50 years, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 22, 2014 at Towne Manor East Center in Norristown.

She was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Doyle) Ruland. She lived a good life. She especially enjoyed living in Hatboro and the kindness of the people in the town, particularly at the Church of the Advent where she frequently worshipped.

Her greatest joy, though, was being with her family and friends who she loved dearly. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Taylor and her husband, Thomas of Reading, PA; her daughter, Sheron Ward of Winston-Salem, NC; two grandsons, Nicholas and Gary; a niece, Karen Manzo and a dear friend, Reverend Dr. Wanda GG Kintner.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Austin, her sister, Shirley Gamauf who was particularly close to her and helpful in difficult times, her sister, Mary T. Reckner and her brother, William Ruland. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing at the Schneider Funeral Home, 431 North York Road, Hatboro, PA after 9AM. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 and to attend her funeral service starting at 10AM. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
