PA Turnpike Lane Restrictions this Week

Utility work to impact travel where the PA Turnpike (I-276) crosses Easton Road.

The Pennsylvania turnpike has announced single lane restrictions scheduled from Monday to Sunday on Rt. 611 in nearby Upper Moreland Township this week.

Utility work is expected to impact travel where the PA Turnpike (I-276) crosses Easton Road.

The contractor received a request from PECO Electric to schedule a right lane closure southbound on Rt. 611 between the hours 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday - Sunday (June 11-17) for utility relocation work between Maryland and Wyandotte Roads.

The overhead bridge and work zone is located approximately one-half mile south of the on/off ramps to the Willow Grove Interchange.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes or allow extra time for travel through the area as delays may occur. All work is subject to change depending on the weather and the contractor’s accessibility and/or productivity.
