Santa Blazes Into Hatboro, Lights Tree

Enterprise Fire Co. volunteers led Santa and Mrs. Claus from the North Pole to the southern end of Hatboro for the borough's annual Christmas tree lighting.

Santa and Mrs. Claus left their sleigh behind and arrived at the Union Library of Hatboro Friday evening atop a fire truck courtesy of Enterprise Fire Co.

A soggy crowd gathered outside in the steady rain and counted down to the lighting of Hatboro's official Christmas tree.

Afterward, Mrs. Claus read a "Twas the Night Before Christmas" inside the library's children's room, followed by visits with Santa.
