St Baldrick's is a nationwide annual head-shaving event in solidarity of children who lose their hair to cancer treatments. Visit www.stbaldricks.org for more information. Our local Horsham event has been held in various locations since 2003, raising over $27,000 in 2008. You don't have to shave your head to participate-stations are set up for head-shaving and hair donation. Don't want to shave or donate hair? Come out and support our event as a spectator and/or volunteer. Eastern Center for Arts and Technology Cosmotology Instructor and students will be on-hand performing the shaving for the 3rd year! Come out and have a great time for a great cause.
There will be a beef/beer following the event at the North Penn VFW in Glenside from 7 - 11 p.m. Dinner, dancing and prizes (must be 21 or over to attend). Tickets are sold in advance and are limited.
