SHOOTING FOR A CURE

On Tuesday night, May 3rd at 5:30pm Hatboro-Horsham Girls & Boys Varsity Lacrosse will host North Penn girls & Pennridge boys for a double-header of high caliber lacrosse action called “SHOOTING FOR A CURE”!

Following the girls varsity game at 5:30, is the 2nd annual Hatters Pink Ceremony (7pm) that will honor all the participating lacrosse players’ family members (from all teams) who are cancer survivors. Each of those participating players’ family members will be escorted by players from North Penn, Pennridge and Hatboro-Horsham for a ceremony to honor their strength and the doctors who have helped treat them. All proceeds from the double-header will go to the MARY T. SACHS BREAST CENTER, part of Abington Memorial Hospital’s Cancer Center, a local National Cancer Center that treats many cancer patients from our area. On hand to represent Abington Cancer Center will be Dr. Donna Angotti and Betty Cummings, the Breast Surgeon and Nurse Oncologist that have treated many of the cancer survivors personally.
