porcelain by HIRO HANAZONO   Every
year since '09 people have asked when she'll be back w/ her functional
cast-porcelain pieces. Hiroe's studio is in Philadelphia where she
carves wooden patterns to produce plaster molds that porcelain slip can
be poured into to make geometric, pristine forms.  Last summer she was Artist-In-Residence in Denmark at the International Ceramic Research Center.

fine jewelry by PARIS MUCHANIC

In making her jewelry, Paris Muchanic creates her own bimetal that closely
mimics the color quality of 14 K yellow gold.  It's a fusion of
sterling silver and red brass that is not available in the trade &
creates the look without the expense.  Paris is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Goldsmiths and

Metals Instructor at the Wayne Art Center.

 

blown glass by CHARLES SORRELS

Charles
Sorrels has maintained his independent art glass studio since
graduating with an MFA in Glass from Rochester Institute of Technology.
His work is sold in 49 states and 7 other countries, and is in both
private & museum collections, as well as art galleries and major
retail stores.  Sorrels also works with art consultants, architects and interior designers.

Gloria
Kosco teaches ceramics at Tyler Park Art Center where she built a
Manabigama wood-fired kiln which she uses with her distictive work.  Gloria did her undergrad at RIT & got her MFA from RISD.

 

contemporary quilting by SAMANTHA NGUYEN

Sammi
Nguyen's studio is in Brooklyn where she does wonderful compositions w/
quilting techniques & lots of appliqué.   Did you ever think about
having an occasion, a wedding, a birth, commemorated with images &

Barbara
Tiberio teaches watercolor techniques on silk fabric at the Goggleworks
& the Baum School. She's been silk painting for 20+ years and is
published in the textbook Creative Silk Painting.

Susan
Ward's limited-edition glass bowls, platters and triptychs have been
presented to international heads of state and are found in museums and
galleries throughout the world.  She is a two-time winner
of the prestigious Metropolitan Magazine Design 100 Award, and her art
has sold in shops at the British Museum in London, the Metropolitan
Museum of Art in New York City and the Renwick Gallery of the
Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C.
