When: Sunday night, July 28th at 7 pm
What: We will meet up around 7pm for some fun, and we will wait for it to get dark enough for meteor spotting.
Why: This is an opportunity to get out and have fun in nature with other kids and adults, and to experience what Cub Scouting is like.
Bonus: There will be a brief educational presentation that will cover the Scout requirements for the Astronomy belt loop. All current and potential Scouts from any pack will receive a confirmation certificate for their den leaders, confirming their participation and fulfillment of these requirements.
Bring: Think of it as family-friendly tailgating, and bring whatever you think you may need, including, but not limited to: flashlights, drinks, snacks, dinner, toys, games, telescopes, friends, blankets, and bug spray.
For safety reasons, any kids attending are required to have an adult present for the duration of the activities.
We are a Cub Scout Pack, and Cub Scouting is a family activity. Parents
are encouraged to participate actively in all of our activities.
