Horsham Police Department Holiday Food Drive

We are very excited to tell you about our

holiday charity event sponsored by the Horsham Police Department. We

will be hosting a food drive on Saturday, December 21st at the Giant

Supermarket 314 Horsham Rd, Horsham, PA 19044.

Our goal is to fill at least two of our police cars full of

non-perishable food. You can bring the food with you or run into the

Giant and pick a few items from a list we can provide. The food will be

used to help re-stock the St. Catherine's Food Panty which helps feed

families in need in Horsham and surrounding communities. You can

imagine at this time of year, the pantry gets hit pretty hard.

Hunger is a real issue here in our area. The work that St. Catherine's

is doing to help is just amazing. We are so excited that the Giant

Supermarket chain has signed on to be part of the effort to help stamp

out hunger here in Horsham. If you patronize this store, please

consider seeking out the manager and thanking them for their

participation.

The  time of the event is between

11:00am and 3:00pm on December 21st. Please help us get the word out. Let's make this go viral!

Two cars full of food is our goal, but not our limit!  You can learn more about this event and other useful information about our Emergency Services here in Horsham by liking our Community Police Services Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/HorshamChATs

At this time of year, please remember, we are all in this together!
