Enjoy Zydeco Music, Cajun Cooking Meet Horsham's Top Cop at Mardi Gras

Horsham
Township and the Greater Horsham Chamber of Commerce are partnering March 4 to
offer Mardi Gras extravaganza, an evening of music, food and fun designed to
bring together all those with a stake in Horsham.

The event, to be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30
p.m. at the Manor House at Commonwealth, 300 Tournament Drive, Horsham will
offer valet parking, food with a Cajun flair-including roasted chicken and
chorizo jambalaya and bayou seafood cakes-a cash bar, zydeco music by “The
Untouchables,” and raffle baskets.

As an added bonus, the community will have the chance to meet Hosham's new police chief, Bill Daly, during the event. The chief will be on hand from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

GHCC President Jo-Anne Zapata said
one of the chamber’s roles is to help businesses - and other segments of the
greater Horsham community - connect. “Mardi Gras is a great opportunity to meet
business owners, corporate executives, nonprofit administrators, state, county
and township officials, and community leaders,” she said. “We’re inviting
everyone to ‘mingle and munch’ and get to know each other. It will be a party

no one will want to miss!”

Mardi Gras is being chaired by
retired Horsham Police Chief Robert Ruxton and his wife, Mary Beth. “It’s a lot easier to take care of business when you have the right contacts,” said Ruxton.
“We want people to know who’s making the decisions that affect their lives and
businesses.”
