"Doubt" at The Village Players of Hatboro

The Village Players of Hatboro have announced the third


production of their 65th Season. It’s the drama, “Doubt” by John Patrick


Stanley. The show premieres on Friday, March 21h at 8:00 p.m. The


theater is located at 401 Jefferson Avenue in Hatboro. For information, call

In the fall of 1964, Father Flynn (Kevin Walters) is the


parish priest at St. Nicholas School in The Bronx. The principal, Sister


Aloysius (Regina Deavitt) runs the school with mistrust of the students, the


teachers and most of society. Thid upsets a young nun Sister James (Katie


Noga). Sister Aloysius suspects father Flynn of misconduct with the first


African-American student. She reveals her suspicions to the boy’s mother Mrs.


Muller (Teresa Miller). The clash of will reached and emotional climax.

The first time director of the show is Georgina Bard who


has appeared on the stage in “The Senator Wore Pantyhose”.

“Doubt” opens on Friday, March 21th, 2014 with


an 8:00 p.m. curtain. Tickets are only $15. The show runs the next three


weekends in March and April. There are two Sunday matinees on March 23rd and March


30th at 2:00 p.m. The Village Players of Hatboro is a non-profit


community theater located in residential Hatboro at 401 Jefferson Avenue near


County Line Road between Jacksonville and Warminster Roads. Call the box office
