4 week Self-care Series

Week 1-September 7th: Exploring Holistic Health
Health is the embodiment of all that nourishes us. Most of us think of health in terms of nutrition and what we eat, but this is only one part. We will be exploring the circle of life, goal setting and starting to set the stage for total wellness so you that you can envision your best you!  Special guest, Lisa Beth Freedman, MD and Board-Certified Holistic Family Physician will also be there to discuss her holistic approach to medicine and nutritional testing.

Week 2- September 14th: Making Nutrition fun, creative and personal!
We are all different from our heads to our toes and so to should be what we eat. The key is to understand that we are made up of what we eat and to then, find the foods that make you feel nourished, complete and whole. We are going to dive into food journaling, creating balanced meals, knowing your food sources, reading labels, creating a wellness pantry, and most important, learning how to make eating well fun and easy.

Week 3- September 21st: Activity, let’s get moving physically and creatively!
Our bodies and minds are designed to move and grow. However, finding time to work out and create new projects with a full time work schedule along with the responsibilities of home and family can be challenging. We are going to learn short routines and projects you can do in the comfort of your own home to make you feel energized, renewed and ready to take on any day.
