INVITE your friends, spread the word. See the message below from Aldo's mom (Hatboro residents) for more details or check out the fb group:

"Our 8 month old son Aldo was born with a condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplasia/Septo-Optic Dysplasia. This condition only affects 1 in 10,000 children. There is still little to no information available as to what causes this condition. All we know is that the brain does not develop properly during the first 12 weeks of fetal development, leaving children with small optic nerves(usually causing some degree if not total blindness), lack of a septum pellucidum and a smaller than normal or no pituitary gland. Having a child with special needs has given us a different and beautiful perspective on life. We would not change any part of him, but we would love to help prevent this disorder from affecting other families. Please, help find the cause of this rare condition! Support Dr. Borchert's ONH research by coming to our event. proceeds will be donated directly to this research. http://www.chla.org/site/c.ipINKTOAJsG/b.8343001/k.1110/Mark_Borchert_MD_Lab__Optic_Nerve_Hypoplasia__ONH_in_Children__Eye_Technology_Research.htm#.U5nw-PldV8p "
