Horsham to Remain Under 1 Party Rule

The Horsham Township Council will remain 5-0 Republican-controlled.

Horsham voters maintained the township council's 5-0 Republican control on Tuesday by electing an all-Republican slate to serve on the governing body.

According to Montgomery County unofficial election results, Republican newcomer Tom Johnson claimed 3,275 votes, while Republican incumbents W. William Whiteside and Deb Tustin earned 3,344 and 3,315 votes respectively to defeat Democrats Scott Freda (2,142 votes), Ron Kolla (2,146 votes) and Veronica Hill Milbourne (2,119 votes).

"We land slided it," Horsham Republican Party Chairman Bill Donnelly told Patch Tuesday night. "We didn’t just win it. We killed 'em."
