Road Restrictions, Business Networking This Week

Here's a look at the week ahead in Hatboro and Horsham.

County Line Road between Bradford Green Drive and Folly Road in Warrington Township and Horsham Township will be restricted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road construction. Drivers should allow extra time when traveling through this area as backups will occur.

The Hatboro Borough Council will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at borough hall, 414 S. York Road. The council will consider awarding a contract for additional testing of the Enterprise Fire Co. addition to determine if the 2,500-square-foot two-story space is structurally deficientAgendas are posted here.

The Greater Horsham Chamber of Commerce will meet Tuesday at the Horsham Pub, 1144 Horsham Road, for a lunch networking program. Members and prospective members can enjoy a meal and have the chance to share their story in about a minute. Registration is $17 per person and includes lunch, non-alcoholic beverage and tip. Kathy Davis Gallery will host an opening for artist Joanna Omlor Cahill’s exhibit “Neon and Neutral” on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The artwork will be on display at Davis’ gallery, 303 Horsham Road in Horsham, through July 19.

Youngsters can hear all about Benjamin Bug and the Science of Matter on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at this science-centric program at the Horsham Township Library, 435 Babylon Road. The program features experiments with fire, water, air pressure and more.
