Patch 101: Submit a News Tip

Have the inside scoop? Send us a tip.

Do you have the inside scoop on the goings on in town? Is there a story out there that we aren't covering? Let us know.

By sending Patch a news tip, you can make the editor aware of a topic that she hasn't discovered yet, or simply let us know what interests you and the community.

You can choose "Send us news tips" from the contribute box at the bottom of the page or "Submit a Tip" at the bottom of any article page. Either way will open a pop-up form.

Enter your name and e-mail, and be sure to give us accurate information so we can get in touch with you if we have questions or want to follow up. Then add your suggestion. The more information and details you can give, the better.

For instance, if you want us to write about your son's upcoming food drive with the Boy Scouts, it would be helpful to include the name of the troop leader and any contact information, if possible. But if you just want to pitch the idea, that's OK too.

Once you've entered all of the information, click submit and the editor will receive an e-mail alert with your news tip.

If you don't want to use the form, send editor Theresa Katalinas an e-mail at Theresa.Katalinas@Patch.com or feel free to call 215-350-4833. We're easily accessible and want to hear from you.
