If you are looking for a way to beat summer boredom, our calendar is full of local activities and events for you and your family.

Here is a collection of Patch’s favorite events for the coming week. Have fun this weekend!

Bowl Over Cancer

Find out what's happening in Hatboro-Horshamwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Where/When: , 1130 York Road, Willow Grove.  Friday 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Why Go: Gilda’s Club will be hosting its first-ever bowling event. There will be delicious food for sale and wonderful auction/raffle items! Please join them for this fun event in support of a fabulous cause!

Pricing: $25 per bowler, which covers three hours of bowling (6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.), shoes, and a ball.

Shakespeare in the Park

Where/When: , 859 County Line Road, Horsham. Sunday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Why Go: Shakespeare's comedy, "As You Like It," directed by Erin Frederick. Performance by Theatre Horizon, a professional nonprofit theatre company headquartered in Norristown that performs in Montgomery County.

Pricing: $10 adults, $5 kids - Tickets available for purchase at the gate.

Party Animals Express

Where/When: 263 Marketplace, 700 York Road, Warminster. Saturday 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go: Come see live, unusual animals and learn about where they come from, and their habitats.

Pricing: Free

Eddy Mann Performing at The Fresh Ground Coffee House

Where/When: Willow Grove Bible Church, 212 Everett Ave., Willow Grove. Friday 8 p.m.

Why Go: Come out for a night of tunes, coffee, and goodies!

Pricing: Free

Doylestown Rotary Car Show

Where/When: Downtown Doylestown. Saturday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Why Go: Cars, live bands on stage and entertainment for kids. Show car registration is just $15.

Pricing: Free
