The weekend is here again. It’s time to think about having fun. Not sure why, but this weekend is really buzzing with events. There is so much to do it was hard to pick … But here are some ideas for this weekend.
Beer Tasting at The Beer Store
Where/When: 488 Second Street Pike, Southampton. Friday 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Why Go: Free samples of chicken wings to go with the beer, so come out and enjoys beer tastings of Flying Fish and Lancaster Brewery.

Earth Day Celebration at the Jarrett Nature Center
Where/When: Hatboro–Horsham High School, 899 Horsham Road, Horsham. Saturday 9 a.m. -noon
Why Go: There will be lots of activities for kids and adults, including a scavenger hunt, face painting, storytelling, angling practice, and geocaching. Bring your old crayons, cell phones, computers, stereos and much more to be recycled!

Where/When: Horsham Library, 435 Babylon Road, Horsham, Saturday 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Friends of Horsham Library present bestselling-author . Refreshments, silent auction, raffle baskets, door prizes and author book signing.
Pricing: $20 per person
Where/When: 780 Falcon Circle, Warminster. Sunday 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Why Go: Come and see the world famous Johnsville Centrifuge right here in Warminster, where American astronauts like Alan Shepard, John Glenn and Scott Carpenter endured grueling training sessions in preparation for missions. You will also lean about the history of technological innovation at the Naval Air Development Center (NADC) in Warminster, which helped America win the Cold War.

Freedom Steps: 5k Walk/Run for our Soldiers
Where/When: Mason Mills Park, 3500 Masons Mill Road, Huntingdon Valley. Sunday 9 a.m.
Why Go: Show your support for the men and women who are on the front lines defending our country and the freedoms. The money raised from this event will be used to purchase supplies and basic necessities for soldiers serving overseas.
Sponsored by the Willow Grove VFW – This is a Willow Grove Tri-Centennial Celebration Event.
Pricing: $20 per person, $40 per family (two adults and children), $10 for an individual child ages 12-18 years
