It’s Thursday, and it’s St. Patty’s Day. Start your weekend early with some Irish fun.

Where/When: Washington House Restaurant, 136 N. Main St., Sellersville. Today from 4:30 to 8 p.m.

Why Go:  Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a traditional Irish dish! Enjoy foods like potato leek soup and corned beef and cabbage

Where/When: Sellersville Theater, 24 West Temple Ave., Sellersville. Today at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Live Irish Music featuring Bill Monaghan & Celtic Pride   

Pricing:  $15 - $20

Where/When: Farmhouse Tavern, 380 N. Main St, Doylestown. Today 7 a.m. to close

Why Go: St. Patty’s Celebration: Including an Irish country breakfast buffet until 11 a.m. Special St. Patrick's Day menu to run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. featuring Irish favorites including corned beef and cabbage. Bagpipers will play at various times throughout the day.

The 20th Annual Bucks Beautiful Garden & Home Show

Where/When:  Delaware Valley College, 700 E. Butler Ave., Doylestown. Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: This is the biggest garden and home show in Bucks County!

The show includes: Beautiful displays, more than 70 exhibitors featuring the latest products and services for the garden and home, seminars with tips and techniques for gardening and home projects and free children’s programs

Friday: Special preview night - Wine and Hors D’oeuvres — $20 per person

Pricing: $10 per person, children 12 and under are free 

Steel Magnolias

Where/When: St. James Hall and Theatre, 8306 Brookside Road, Elkins Park. Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

Why Go: H.O.P.E. Players, in conjunction with its production of “Steel Magnolias,” will be donating a portion of its proceeds to the American Diabetes Association. This production provides a night out while creating H.O.P.E. on so many levels.

Casino Night

Where/When: Ann's Choice multi-purpose room, 30000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster. Saturday at 7 p.m.

Why Go: Help the Friends of Warminster Parks raise money to support the local parks. Ticket includes beef and beer with cash bar and $50 dollars' worth of tokens. Have a great night, and support a good cause.   

Pricing: $30 per person. Must be 21 to attend.  

Annual Ham Dinner

Where/When: Lehman Methodist Church, 300 S. York Road, Hatboro. Saturday 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.    

Why Go: Enjoy a home-cooked, old-fashion ham dinner. Includes baked ham, baked potato, green beans, cole slaw, applesauce, roll and butter and dessert. Dinner is served family style.

Tickets are available in the church office or at the door. Proceeds benefit the church choir.

Pricing: $10 for adults ($11 at the door). $5 for children 6 to 12; free for children 5 and under.
