UPDATE: Downed Utility Pole Fixed, Roads Reopen

PECO completes lengthy repair at intersection of Lehman and Chester avenues

Utility work in the area of Chester and Lehman avenues in Hatboro completed just before 10 p.m. Thursday night, allowing the road to reopen.

The intersection had been closed since Thursday morning as a result of a broken utility pole and low-hanging utility lines. 

PECO spent about 10 hours replacing the utility pole at the intersection of South Chester and West Lehman avenues, near and . Hatboro Police said Verizon will be in the area later to complete additional work, but that is not expected to require any road closures. 

The borough's public works department will be collecting trash on West Lehman and Spring avenues Friday.

Police said no injuries or power outages had resulted from the broken utility pole.
