From school picture day to the next HLRA meeting for Willow Grove air base, today is an eventful day.

  1. Make sure your kids pack an umbrella today, because rain is expected to start around 3 p.m., just about the time school lets out. Otherwise a nice 77 degree day today.
  2. If your child is homeschooled, consider coming to for today's Homeschool Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  3. In case you're wondering what's happening with the redevelopment of Willow Grove air base, the is holding a with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m. today. Horsham Land Reuse Authority Executive Director Mike McGee is the featured speaker. Then at 3 p.m., the HLRA will hold its monthly meeting in the meeting room. The board is not scheduled to review or act on the three potential redevelopment options.
