5 Things: March 31

Try to train for a triathlon here in Hatboro-Horsham.

1. Swimming is the first leg of a triathlon. Hideaway Swim Club is a great way to get started with swimming lessons, cool pool activities, and good clean fun.

 2. Bicycling is the second leg of a triathlon. Suburban Cyclists Unlimited is a club devoted to training, riding, and racing cyclists. If you need someone to push your limits, or a group to do a weekend practice with, then join the cyclists.

3. Running is the third leg of a triathlon. Ambler Area Running Club tries to promote and encourage local running. Members train with the club and get discounts at local running stores.

4. Adults are not the only ones that like to run triathlons. Kids can get in shape for the Kids' Triathlon on June 12. No matter if you’re 6 or 14 there is a race level for you.

5. Recipe: Training is not always about exercise. What you put into your body is what your body will put out. Try this old Pennsylvania Dutch recipe for breakfast and get your training started right.
