5 Things: Feb. 24

Come see all the music opportunites here in Hatboro-Horsham.

1. Get your old guitar out and warm up those singing pipes for Open Mic Night at Iron Abbey Gastro Pub. With weekly and monthly specials, you don’t need to be the next Bob Dylan to appreciate this bar.

2. Maybe listening to someone who is not an amateur is more your liking. How about picking up a CD from a local musician, such as John Brasch. He's a singer-songwriter whose music is a blend of pop, indie, alternative, and Christian. His soft voice and acoustic guitar will surely be an enjoyable listen.

 3. Maybe you like listening to classics, such as Mozart, Bach, or Beethoven. Old York Road Symphony will fill your eardrums with the flit of the flute, the harmony of the harp, and the bum of the bass.

4. Weather: After a cold night, today will greet you with a crisp, sunny morning; however, it will start to rain by noon and will continue all afternoon.

5. Perhaps a good jam session is all you need, and for that you need a good drink. Try Red Death, a fiery mixture that will have you shredding like Hendrix.
