History: For the last 20 years, the building had housed the Lacey Lady lingerie store. The original owner passed along the business to her niece and nephew who recently closed up shop to raise a family, according to Hatboro Main Street Manager Stephen Barth.

The Challenge: There are no specifically dedicated parking spaces for the property. Along York Road there are metered spaces and on the side there are also metered spaces as well.

Interest: Several small restaurants have looked into the site which presents problems because of limited parking, Barth said.

Potential: The site has a large, highly visible display window which Barth said is "ideal" for a small retail shop. "I think it is an excellent space for a small craft or gift store or specialty product store." Century 21 realtor Mike Stitz - who had helped with the - is marketing the property and Barth said he's confident it will be occupied soon.

"Mike Stitz is an extraordinary realtor who has been instrumental in filling many of the vacant spaces in the borough and has truly embraced our revitalization efforts," Barth said. "I work closely with Mike each week. He is a proactive realtor of great character and integrity."
